Journeying creatively through the Mid-Life Years @ Emmaus House,
Jun 11 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Journeying creatively through the Mid-Life Years:

We often hear the words,  mid-life.

Do we believe that this can be a wake-up call for all of us, individually and collectively?

Sometimes it comes as the result of an outside event: death, illness, divorce, separation, redundancy, or even the pandemic or simply waking up one morning   with the question is this all there is to life?

It is the moment(s) when we realise there is more to life than what we are living and that what was once important no longer holds the same impact.

Could we now embrace the opposites that lie within us ………?  In fact it is often the time to turn to our inner life, to those unrecognised or forgotten parts of ourselves which hold a treasure.

Truly this is our spiritual journey.

Living creatively in Older years, bloom where you are planted @ Emmaus House,
Jun 12 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Living creatively in Older years, bloom where you are planted:

Often we say that age is only a number ….

Are we not encouraged to keep our body, soul, spirit healthy?

We need to relax and look after ourselves: after all we are God’s gift.

This is not selfish. In fact, we will probably be able to do better for others if we take care of ourselves.

Our life is a sacred journey.

and it’s all about change, growth and discovery.

We are on the path exactly where we are meant to be right now.

And from here we can only go forward, shaping our life stories into a wonderful tale of triumph, of healing, courage, beauty, wisdom, dignity and love.

WALKING THE LABYRINTH @ Emmaus House,
Jun 13 @ 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

WALKING THE LABYRINTH

Be present and experience the moment

Your life is a sacred journey and it’s all about change, growth, discovery  …….

You are on the path

exactly where you are meant to be right now and from here you can only go forward shaping your life story  ……

The labyrinth entered Christian prayer life in the Middle Ages, when it was incorporated into Cathedrals across Europe.

The labyrinth differs from a maze in that it has only ONE path and there are no dead ends.

The path winds throughout and becomes a mirror for where we are in our lives,

touching our sorrows and releasing our joys.

Walk it with an open mind and an open heart.

WHERE:       Emmaus House, Sleep Lane, Whitchurch, BS14 0QN

(01275 792670 or annemmaus40@mail.com)

WHEN:        Thursday 13th June 2024 and/or

Saturday 7th  September 2024 10.30 – 12.30

If you wish to WALK the LABYRINTH by yourself at another moment please phone or email with a day and time convenient for yourself. We can then see whether this is possible and get back to you. Handouts can be provided if you wish.

If you find walking difficulty, you will be able to sit with a finger labyrinth.

A donation is welcome, if possible for you.
